Horses, Halloween, and Happy 3rd Bday Rosie

Morning "coffee".

Pretty much always has something stuffed in his mouth.

Picking up sticks after the high winds from the hurricane.

Best buds.

Celebrating Nanny's 90th birthday.

Rosses sleep hard.

As close as we get to a good shot of all 3.

Rosie likes to sneak in the bed and get some snuggles.

Playing library with PopPop.

Horses 3 weeks in a row. First week was the neighboring house at my MS football party.

The kids got to feed the horses (videos below).

So great to have Grandma Ross in Charlotte. One day spent at Wise Acres Farm.

Ready for her big birthday horsey ride.

Very excited.

Waiting surprisingly patiently.

Blessed that our kids have awesome Grandmas (and Grandpas).

Finally getting to meet Bubba.

Madi did a fantastic job teaching Rosie and Jason.

As Jason would say, "Be an eye on Bubba."

Really calm and in control leading Bubba.

"I got this."

Two adorable spectators.

When she had to get off. Not crying, just depressed. Stayed like this for 5-10 minutes.

Buddy finally gets his turn.

Time to take Bubba back to his stall.

A quick celebration with cupcakes.

Mommy made the art piece in the back.

Back home to open presents...a slight theme throughout.

Loves her new boots.

A few horses and accessories to reenact the days adventures.

Showing off the boots.

Both wanted to read their Bibles before bed.

Halloween--Rosie was Gabby Girl and Jason was Michelangelo.

Luke becomes the 3rd Ross child to be a tiger.

Jason (and the rest of us) couldn't stop staring at this lady. Impressive work.

A little Nut Goodie birthday cake after collecting a ton of candy.

Even The Donald called to wish Rosie a happy birthday.

Loves posing for pictures.

Serious curls in the back.

Very excited to use the $1 Grandma Ross gave to spend at garage sales.

Still have their dollars as today's garage sales were a disappointment.

3rd horse adventure--temporary neighbor and new best friend Hazel had a pony at her 3rd bday party.

A little worried that Rosie thinks this is a new weekly event for the Ross family--it is not.

This has PopPop written all over it.

Learning to wave.

Personality is starting to show.

Rosie not happy when I tried to tape her dancing to the music.

All ready for her horsey ride.

Madi teaching Rosie how to brush Bubba.

Working on her dance moves.

What a character.

September

Not scripted. Praying this is a sign of things to come.

Hard to beat that smile.

Recorder is a full contact sport.

We had such a good time with the Bates crew.

Rosie's new obsession--horses.

Once again killing time late on a day that Rosie took a nap.

Rosie likes to play her own version of "Where's Waldo?". Thought I lost her for a second.

Jason loves his new car magazines! Thanks Grandma and Papa Ross.

A dress with cat pockets. That's a win-win-win for Rosie.

Jason is hoping to make this upgrade from his Spider Man bike.

Working on ground balls.

What happens when I ask the kids to look at me for a picture while watching a show.

Starting to figure out why she likes cooking/baking so much.

Rosie at it again.

Why use a bed when you can sleep uncomfortable sideways on a chair?

Still supporting the Twins--that's a true Minnesota fan.

Loves to mash the keyboard.

Slightly biased, but this kids pretty cute. (first few videos about 2 months old)

Mommy getting her weekly training sessions in.

Not surprising how these two took the wheel. Jason conservative, if not focused.

Rosie immediately doing donuts.

On the move.

Reading Pip and Posie.

For Grandma Bates.

For Uncle Dete.

Sweet...kind of.

Creepy.

God speed to his teacher at CCS next year.

Pretty good version of Sampson.

Baba's turn to get some training in.

First pin. (about a month ago)

Using each other as puppets.

Most depressing ride down the slide I have ever seen.

Mary Poppins. Pretty classic Jason here--making sure Rosie's not the only one in the spotlight.

The boys

 Mom's loving his new haircut

Luke can now climb up the stairs. Look out!
