Surviving w/o Mom and Hanging w/ Nana

Jason was supposed to be napping in our room. Checked on him after a few minutes and he was lying on the ground in our closet with my shoes on.

Our mad scientist back at it again.

Enjoying the park.

With Mommy out of town visiting a friend for the night, Rosie took advantage of Baba. Put her down at 7:30. Got her back up at 8:30. Ate popcorn and watched tv for an hour. Finally went down at 9:30.

Rosie trying to brush her own teeth.

Twenty four hours without Mom and still smiling--at least in the picture.

Great. posture.

Making sure I noticed that her face was the icon on the computer.

Cleaning up.

Sitting on the high wall with the big kids.

Rosie is obsessed with her "Nanny".

Pretty sure it's against protocol to pick up coins already in the fountain, but that didn't stop us.

Where's Nanny? Eating her Klondike in secret since Mom told Rosie she couldn't have any more and Nana didn't want to eat in front of her.

Slightly terrifying.

A few videos to prove that they actually get along at times.

Never a Dull Moment

Working on pushup technique with Mom.

Jason graduated to a twin bed. It is on the floor for now. Apparently, it is great to jump on.

Is the bed any good for sleeping? We're not sure. "I want to sleep on the floor."

Rosie sporting the latest dress from locally renowned designer Lauren Ross.

Busy in the kitchen.

Pretty sure her vertical is already higher than mine.

If you lay on the floor in our house, this will happen to you.

We call her our Little Mad Scientist.

Happy 4th!

Loving his new Twins shirt from Uncle Pete and Aunt Becky.

Jason taking part in the neighborhood 4th of July parade.

Neither Rosie nor Jason were too excited about the parade.

Take a wild guess what is behind them?...food.

Recovering from a tough spill.

PopPop, Grandma, and Nana all made it down to Charlotte. It has been so good to have them here with us.

Working on his smile for the camera.

They really do you fun with each other a lot of the time.

Tuesday...time for the garbage truck.

Rosie loves her Mommy.

Rosie having no mercy on her injured brother.

"Nap Time"

Jason just came downstairs during his "nap time". This is what he looked like. Yes, it's permanent.

Minnesota Videos

Enjoying the lake.

Jason making sure everyone is watching. Rosie giving her southern "Bye" as she gets in the car.

Rosie taking her turn.

All that work only to get distracted at the top and come tumbling down.

Pretty sure Pa Ross couldn't be prouder.

Loving the zoo.

Minnesota

It was great to see family and friends in Minnesota! Thanks for a great trip, Grandma and Papa.

Jason continues to love planes.

Rosie was rarely without a drink in hand on this trip.

Jason enjoying the back yard at the cabin...probably about to trip on the tent again.

Jason on the shore waiting for a summer storm.

Ham.

Enjoying time on the beach with Papa and Ben.

Catching a local home run derby.

If Jason wasn't already obsessed with Uncle Dete, he sure is now.

Scary thing is it fits pretty well.

Lightning is everywhere.

Headed to the zoo.

Jason loved the bear. Rosie...not so much.

Taunting animals. We have raised him well.

Rosie did, however, like the real bears.

One of the animals Jason said was his favorite at the zoo (along with penguins, which weren't there).

Having fun with Molly and Kane.

They both loved the turtles.

What's a trip to MN without learning how to milk a cow?

Sometimes I'm not sure Jason shouldn't be the one in the cage.

Always working on his form.

Rosie's favorite thing in the world--bubbles.

This is America. We don't even blow our bubbles.

Rosie hanging with the girls. We had a great time with the Guldseths.
