Adleigh's dedication

Adleigh Laura was dedicated last night at Team Church's One Night service. Both kids did great on stage. The verse we chose for her is Colossians 3:12-14: "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

If you can't tell, he is saying "hug"

Jason calls Andy Baba 20% of the time, Daddy 10%, and Mommy 70% :)

A sad reason to visit NY

Grandpa Jones passed away last week so we started the drive up as soon as we heard the news. Despite the circumstances, it was good to be with family. (Photos courtesy of Pop Pop of course)

Late Update on Visit from Papa and Grandma Ross

Grandma and Papa Ross visited in January to see the kids and watch some basketball.  We loved having them here and were so thankful for their help and company.  Obviously, the kids had a blast.
Much like Pa Bates is the photographer of the Bates family, Ma Ross is the photographer of the Ross family.  A picture of either one is a rare find.

Michael Scarn makes an appearance.

We're still not sure if she is a human or a doll.

We don't call her Cozy Rosey for nothing.

Buddy has all the grandparents wrapped around his finger.

Snow Day

I (Andy) made this Lego tower for Jason to wake up to.  It lasted about 30 seconds.

We had an real snowstorm in Charlotte.  Jason wasn't too sure about the snow at first.

He warmed up to the idea after a while.

And of course ended up enjoying it so much that he freaked out when we brought him back in.

Mom showing Jason how it's done.

Not afraid to venture out on his own...as long as Mom is close by.

Early dismissal!

Rosey loves Patty Cake.

Don't need a La-Z-Boy when you have Dad.
