Pics from Minnesota

And we're off...

A true Ross. She was messing with remotes all week.

Minnesota temperatures meant lots of time inside. Buddy didn't mind extra screen time.

Jason didn't hesitate when the pastor called the kids up front. Chivalry...it's dead.

Starting to figure this whole Christmas thing out. "More presents. More presents."

Quality time with Molly.

Jason's two favorite gifts. Neither were for him. Both were for girls.
Kaner trying so hard to get a good picture with Rosie.

Almost there.

Ah, forget it.

Addie stealing food from Molly.

Every once in a while, Jason let Rosie play with her own toys.

I think we were the last holdouts of "Frozen." No longer after getting this toy. Only a true brother buys a gift for your child to annoy you as much as for your child's enjoyment. "Let it go, let it go!"

Addie figuring this whole coloring thing out.

"Please don't disturb me while I am working."

Got ready for a good Minnesota walk...barely got past the next door neighbor's house. Seriously.

Jason loved the piano. He played a lot of different variations of "Jingle Bells".

Kane: "I will make sure she doesn't touch the screen."
Rosie: "Good luck with that."

Jason: "Up high?" (learned from Uncle Dete)

"Down low?"

Kane showing Jason what "down low" should look like.

"Too slow!"

"Got you!"

Still focused on the tv.

Like I said...a true Ross.

Taking it easy with Austin. Jason was obsessed with him.

Hanging out with Rosie at the hotel Monday morning. She slept in till 5 a.m.

Deja vu of killing time with Jason in the hotel this past summer.

Waiting for an opening.

Going for it. No look, even.

Not so fast!

We had a great time, but this picture sums up how everyone felt at the end of the trip. Lauren got really sick. Jason got slightly sick. Rosie woke up at about 4:30 every morning and capped it off by puking on the drive to the cities.

Buddy and Rosie love Grandma and Papa. Thanks for an awesome Christmas!

Last Post Before Minnesota

Jason singing "You are My Sunshine" to Rosie. She seems unimpressed.

Fun in the crib.

Working on names.

A girls that knows what she wants and isn't afraid to let you know it.

I knew this would come back to haunt us.

Jason named the dogs on the back of "101 Dalmations." Probably his favorite book right now.

He randomly says "hi" to us throughout the day...usually when he thinks he's in trouble.

This was about a minute before nap time. Take a wild guess if he feel asleep.

Ready for Christmas

Both kids have been sick a lot lately. Extremely grateful PaPa Ross is always a call away.

Watching the garbage truck.

Absolutely terrified. Jason was very excited, but clung to my leg as soon as we got within 10 ft.

Coloring time.

Serious business.

He still loves hats.

Jason imitating me taking a picture of him.

Catching up on Videos

Rosie working on her QB skills.

Jason showing Rosie how it's done.

Getting in a workout with Anya and Jonah.

Jason is very encouraging. He often says, "Good job, Baba/Mommy" or "Yea, Baba/Mommy!" This is him celebrating my horrible drawing of a boat.

Nothing like a little Josh Groban while you eat Cheerios with a wrench. Almost every time he split a Cheerio, he would say, "It works."

Some serious moves.

What a good big brother. Jason doesn't always push Rosie around. Sometimes he lets her get in a few shots too.

Happy Thanksgiving

Our Mr. Potato Head.

Look out Rose...

Buddy loves helping Mom in the kitchen.

Just like any good cook, he likes to taste his work.

We had a great time celebrating Thanksgiving with the Bateses in Tennessee. Jason loved the book Uncle Bud wrote (and illustrated) back in elementary school.

Teaching Buddy a classic--Frogger.

Rosie bringing joy.

Rosie getting caught making a mess.

Jason loves to color. Rosie loves to eat crayons and markers.

Thankfully, they both are liking their hats this winter.

Hugs from Jason.

Jason was a champ at the auto shop with me. "Tasty water."

You're telling me you don't use a wrench to eat your Cheerios.

Rosie pulling off the camo.

No shirt and sweatpants in the house...if this isn't a mini Uncle Dete, I don't know what is.
