Pulled up on his own today

He also has his two front teeth now. Six teeth and counting!

Things are good around here

Jason got another tooth - his top front right tooth. He handled this tooth coming in WAY better than his other four so maybe the worst is behind us for that? He is also standing up without much assistance and you can see in these videos how well he is getting to his feet. Oh, and sleeping at night? AMAZING!!!!

Visit from Grandma and Pop Pop Bates

Jason had a great time with Grandma and Pop Pop this past week! He learned some new songs, how to fix a cabinet door that won't close, and what a kitchen sink is supposed to look like. He showed them how to crawl after balls and how to take toys out of a basket one by one. Thanks for visiting!

Sleeping through the night!

It only took 7 1/2 months, but Buddy finally slept through the night! From 10:30pm to 7am! We don't know what tonight holds but we are celebrating this victory today! :)

I realized baby food doesn't need to be bland. Jason has been enjoying chicken and green beans seasoned with paprika, cinnamon with his applesauce oatmeal, and purees of the food we eat for dinner

Christmas in Minnesota

 We started our trip in St. Cloud to see Uncle Pete, Auntie Becky, Austin and baby Ben

 Austin will be teaching Jason all about sports in the future

Then off to Ortonville. Cousin Kane enjoyed playing with (and on) Jason
