All family has gone home, so it's just been the 3 of us this week. Friends have made it easy on us and have provided us with dinner. Jason is gaining weight like a champ. He was weighed at 9 days and was already past his birth weight--8 lbs, 12.5 oz. All this hard work has helped him sleep a little better during the night (except for the 1-4 am time slot).
Jason met a lot of family in his first week. Grandpa and Grandma Bates stayed with us all week and were a huge help as we adjusted to life with out little guy. At his 3 day appointment, Jason weighed 7 lbs, 10.5 oz. Grandpa and Grandma Ross made the long drive from MN with Uncle Pete, Aunt Becky, and cousin Austin on Thursday. Jason is blessed to have such great relatives.
Jason Peter Ross was born on June 3rd, 2012 at 2:51 p.m. He was born at the Carolina Community Maternity Center in Fort Mill, SC. His weight was 8 lbs, 6 oz and he was 20.5 inches long.
