We enjoyed an early Christmas with Uncle Bud, Auntie Nene, and Cousin Anya and Jonah! (Sorry for some repeats to those who frequent both the Ross and Bates blogs) :)

 Three minutes of Sesame Street and he LOVED it. Might be utilizing videos in the future on hard days :)

He is sitting up on his own very well now.

The monkey is going into retirement

It served us well for a time, but Jason doesn't have the same respect for the monkey that he used to

And this week is avocado. So far so good.

Bananas and another tooth!

Another big week. Jason had a week of bananas (he's a serious eater), got another tooth (left lateral incisor - will we ever sleep again??), and is consistently rocking (Grandma Bates gives him two weeks until he's crawling) :)

The verse we chose was Joshua 1:8, "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."

Uncle Bud comes to visit

 Uncle Bud helped us make these last minute Black Cat cake pops for the party. I think he's amused by our "fly by the seat of our pants" life :)

A big night for Jason!

Jason spent his first night in his crib last night and in the morning when we looked at the monitor he was looking right at us... from his stomach!

4 month doctor appointment today

Weight: 17lbs, 9 oz; 87%

Height: 26 in; 84%

Head circumference: 17.75in; 99%

Jason also had two shots today. He was very brave and did not cry. Neither did his mom :)

Fall is here

 Cold enough for a sweatshirt, but not enough for pants

 See, Auntie Ne Ne, I don't ALWAYS smile

Thanks for Sophie, Auntie Ne Ne. Jason loves it and even the workers at Costco know it's his favorite toy :)
